We are an independent, community focused, non-profit organization which exists to promote the study, appreciation and display of the visual arts, particularly the art of the Mt. Washington Valley Region.

CLOSED NOV 24 THRU NOV 29
Monday - Thursday, 9AM-2PM
The hours are "general" hours. Please call ahead to make sure the Visual Arts Center is open.

How to find us!
Park in the parking lot behind The Met. There is a wing of the building that runs parallel to the parking lot. At the left hand end of the building are two businesses, Fields of Ambrosia and the Old Village Barber Shop. Go in the double red doors to the right of the barbershop and come down the stairs and through the door at the bottom.

Heart Art

HEART ART needs new art supplies - The MWVAA is beginning a new program, "Heart Art" in collaboration with Starting Point. The healing benefits of the arts are well documented. As a way to support the healing of Starting Points’ clients, the MWVAA is pleased to announce the kick-off of “Heart Art” with an art supply drive to collect new art materials to fill art kits for these women and children. The MWVAA is in the process of putting together its fall and winter schedules and is looking for teachers in a wide range of mediums for children and adults.
