Participate in the Affordable Art Show & Sale - formerly the Holiday Show. The show will run the first three Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in December (4,5,6; 11,12,13; 18,19,20) from 10AM-5PM daily except December 20 where hours will be from 10AM-4PM.
All artists are asked to take one half-day show-sitting block.

HEART ART needs new art supplies - The MWVAA is beginning a new program, "Heart Art" in collaboration with Starting Point. The healing benefits of the arts are well documented. As a way to support the healing of Starting Points’ clients, the MWVAA is pleased to announce the kick-off of “Heart Art” with an art supply drive to collect new art materials to fill art kits for these women and children.

Kaleidoscope of the Arts is August 20-23 at the Salyards Center for the Arts. The MWVAA is committed to supporting 3D artisan quality artists and fine craft artists in promoting and selling their work and has created this new show. If you are a 3D artisan quality artist or a fine craft artist, the MWVAA would love to have you as an exhibiting member artist in this juried show. The MWVAA is excited to offer its first camp for kids, the TWEEN ART CAMP. Peggy Jackson, an experienced art teacher will guide the kids through a variety of monoprinting, weaving and drawing experiences. Students can sign up for a half day in the morning or afternoon or stay for the whole day. The weekly Friday Painters plein air painting group returns to the outdoors on June 19th through October 9th. Artists of all abilities and mediums are welcome. The group meets from 9AM to 12:30PM and includes a short critique for those that wish to participate. Paint some of the valley's most spectacular views from public locations and private properties. When it rains, the Friday Painters will come indoors to the MWV Visual Arts Center at 16 Norcross Place in North Conway village.

The MWVAA is seeking artists of two dimensional mediums for entries for the juried “Visions of the Rockpile” exhibit. This exhibit is in partnership with the Mount Washington Observatory and will run from Saturday, July 11 through Saturday, August 22. This exhibit is open to members and nonmembers.
